How to use them ?

Go in radio panel, select radio that you are using, then click on “radio enabled” button.

Once done, you can select your virtual radio location (all radars / airports in your coalition)

You can easily switch position with the radio panel or with selection’s properties shortcut.

SRS panel

This is part of LotAtc Advanced.

The SRS panel can drive the radio directly. From there you can:

  • select the active radio,
  • change the frequency (typing a value or using the +/- steps),
  • toggle encryption,
  • show or hide individual channels to keep only the ones you actually use.

A receiving indicator lights up when you hear a transmission, and a simultaneous transmission badge warns you when two stations talk over each other on a channel.

Minimalist mode

For tight dock layouts, the panel can switch to a compact view that only shows the essentials (current channel, frequency, PTT/receiving state). The mode is toggled from the panel header.

SRS panel reduced

Frequency input

The frequency input has been reworked to be more forgiving — you can type frequencies in MHz with or without the unit, and the panel parses them as you go.

AWACS radio preset editor

This is part of LotAtc Advanced.

The preset editor lets you build, save, and switch between full radio layouts for AWACS work. It ships with a default 11-radio layout (Radio 0 reserved for SATCOM/intercom, Radios 1–10 for UHF/VHF channels) and you can:

  • create, duplicate or delete presets,
  • edit a preset live and apply it to the running SRS without restarting,
  • import the current SRS state as a starting point for a new preset,
  • export a preset for use directly with SRS.

Files are compatible with the standard SRS preset JSON format.
