What’s next?
If you follow the Discord channel of LotAtc, you already know that airport view with all taxiways is under development and will be available soon. It will bring a new era of LotAtc with out need of the DCS’s F10 view to manage an airport… I am currently modelizing all airports for Caucasus (done) and Persian Gulf (in progress), Nevada will come next.
Airport view will come in a big update of LotAtc, a 2.0 version that will contains other big features like:
- More control on LotAtc login (authentication by user/password, IP restriction, IP blacklist/whitelist)
- Themeing support, you will be able to load/save theme and share with others users, it will contains colors, labels settings… Format will be json to allow editing.
- SRS support (controller could define it’s virtual position, LOS support for SRS)
- more to come…
As you see, it is a big update that I am preparing secretly since some months. The biggest part of the work was the LotAtc Core code that need to be updated to support all of new features, this underground work is now done.
I will tell you more on LotAtc 2.0 in the next weeks…
LotAtc 2.0 will arrive in September in beta.
