I have released version 2.6.1. This version improves stability and fixes installation issues (missing DLL on some Windows).
What’s next ?
The next version, the 2.7.0, is planned in March with the results of months of engine rework and will bring some important updates on the radar simulator:
- RCS variation depending on the unit aspect
- advanced Doppler effect settings (will be good for WW2 profiles)
- major speed improvements for large missions (CPU time divided by 50 to 80 times)!
Once the 2.7.0 is out, LotAtc 2.x branch will be in maintenance, the work will focus on LotAtc 3.0 and the major rework of the app!
Versioning
The 2.6.1 is compatible with 2.3.x branch or later
I have changed the rule for maintenance versions. With recent developments, I have a more stable network protocol. Starting with the 2.3, all minor version changes (2.3, 2.4, 2.5, …) will be compatible with each other.
